Hello everyone and welcome to my new blog! I would like this blog to be anonymous, so I wont be telling you my name or any other personal information. The reason I want to keep my blog anonymous is because I’m not starting it for the fame, I would just like somewhere to express my thoughts and somewhere you can too! If you do have any other questions though, that aren’t personal, feel free to leave them in the comments.
I have decided to call my blog ‘Wonder Girl’ for a few different reasons. First of all, my absolute favourite book of all time is ‘Wonder’ by R.J Palacio. It is such an inspirational book and always reminds me to choose kind. Also, I thought the phrase ‘Wonder Girl’ kind of represents my personality as I’m always daydreaming and wondering ‘what if?’.
My blog posts will be about lifestyle, beauty and other little things such as photography and baking. I may also do life updates in the future where you can find out a little more about me, but I wont be using any real names. Be sure to stay tuned to my blog if this sounds right up your street. If my blog becomes popular, I may set up a social media page, so comment down below if you would like this. I’m not to sure yet how often I will be posting and on what days, so comment down below any suggestions. Also leave in the comments any suggestions for future blog posts because I want to create posts that you want to read as well as posts I want to write about.
Sorry this is only a small post, but I just wanted to introduce myself a little bit. I hope you decide to return to page when I next post and remember to comment down below all those things I suggested. Like this post and feel free to share it. See you soon.

Hello everybody. Today I thought I would do another monthly favourites post as you guys really liked the last one I did. Its finally February which excites me a lot as this is my birthday month, but I thought I would talk about some of the things that I liked during January.
My favourite song: I’m not sure if this really counts as a ‘song’ but recently I watched ‘The Greatest Showman’ which is honestly one of the most amazing musicals and movies that I’ve ever seen because of the amazing songs. I’ve been listening to all of these all month and I’m obsessed. If you haven’t listened to these songs than you need to.
My favourite book: Lately I’ve really been liking the ‘Shopaholic’ books by Sophie Kinsella. They’re really good if you quite like girly books. They sound like they would be for young children, but I think they’re target audience would probably be around 13-20 year olds.
My favourite TV show: Okay so my friend recently watched a Netflix series called ‘Stranger Things’ and told me about how good it was so I watched one episode and …… ended up watching a whole series in one day (I’m not proud of this by the way lol). Its so good and I cant wait for season 3!!
My favourite film: So this film actually came out in November, but I really wanted to talk about it because its honestly my favourite movies ever. If you’ve read my 25 facts about me post then you will know that my favourite book is ‘Wonder’ by R.J Placio and how I was excited for the movie to come out. Well it did and it was so moving and inspirational. It really made me think about whether I am always choosing kind.
My favourite makeup product: One of my favourite makeup products this month has been the ELF eyebrow pencil. I use the colour natural brown and it gives a really precise natural brow. I have also been loving the Revolution reloaded iconic fever eyeshadow palette. This is quite an autumn palette as it is very red toned but I love it so much and the shades are really pigmented.
My favourite beauty product: My favourite beauty product this month is actually as Victoria Secrets spray in the scent ‘forever sexy’. I actually got this for Christmas from my parents and I’ve been wearing it everyday since. Its quite a mature scent I think because it isn’t very sweet but I really love it. Also the packaging is beautiful.
Thank you so much for reading this post and please give it a like if you want me to do more monthly favourites. Also comment if you like any of these thinks that I like. Follow my blog and I’ll write to you soon.

Hello everyone… its been a while. I’ve been gone a long time for many reasons, but I really don’t want to try and make you all feel sorry for me so I’m not going to talk about why. I just want to quickly say that I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year! Whilst I’ve be gone, I feel like I’ve changed. I’ve become a lot happier and positive person, I don’t know whether this is because its a new year or just because I’ve had a change in mind set. I hope this change will help improve my blog and make it a really positive place for people to come to. I also just want to say that for a while I’m going to be uploading posts when I want to and not a certain day or time (sorry if this annoys you).
Today I wanted to do a life update and just catch up with you guys. First of all lets talk about my new year resolutions. I only have three this year and they are:
- Make the most of my days.
- Try and do something that makes me happy everyday.
- Be more positive and happy.
I really want to make the most of my days because I feel as though my childhood is disappearing in front of my eyes and that kind of scares me. I want to make the most of everyday and not just wish them away. As I was talking about before, I want to be more positive and happy and I think doing something that makes me happy everyday will help me with this. Please leave in the comment what your resolutions are because I would really love to know what they are.
I’ve started to write in a diary occasionally again where I’m writing about my lows and highs. Its sometimes just nice to tell someone everything without them judging you. This is really helping me stay positive and get the bad thoughts out of my mind and onto paper. Another thing that has made me more positive lately is making new friends at school. I’ve really struggled with friends and secondary school making me feel very down, but one thing that can really make me feel happy is getting to know new people. Something else that I’ve loved doing lately is listening to my stay calm playlist that I made to relax me when I’m feeling stressed or anxious. I would highly recommend this if like me, you can get very nervous for things.
Lately I’ve been doing all my homework in the week so I have time at the weekends to go out with my family and I’ve also been enjoying doing a bit of baking occasionally. Doing this is helping me achieve one of my resolutions as going out with my family friends means I am making the most of days rather than sitting inside and doing homework. I also love going out when its winter because you can wrap up and then go and get a nice hot drink in a café. I love winter because of the fashion and also how calming in (which sounds strange) but everyone is just really relaxed in winter and everywhere feels homely because its so cold outside. Don’t get me wrong though, I cant wait for summer.
I’m going to go now because I feel like I’ve just rambled on for ages. I hope you enjoyed this more relaxed style post and I’ll speak to you soon.

Hello everybody. I’m so excited because today I’m doing my first haul blog post. I love autumn and winter because of the fashion, so I was really excited to go shopping and update my wardrobe a bit. If you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know I went shopping a few days ago so I’m sorry this post is late but I’ve had a few difficulties trying to insert photos and this is actually the third time I’ve written this post. This haul is only small but I’m still super excited so lets get started!
The first shop I went into was H&M. I picked up this cream coloured casual jumper (1). Its a really lovely thick, wool material and super comfy. It isn’t tight fitted around the sleeves or the bottom of the jumper which I really like and it also has a slight high neck which is perfect for autumn. I also picked up one of these in navy (2) because I think this colour is very autumnal and suits my blonde hair (another cheeky fact about me there). The last thing I picked up from H&M is this lovely baby blue jumper (3). This is a bit more fitted than the other two jumpers because it is elasticated around the wrists and bottom. I think this colour is stunning and this jumper is again a really thick, good quality material.
(1) 12.99 (2) 12.99 (3) 14.99 (this photo went really weird sorry)
I next went into Primark where I picked up this plain black jumper (4). This has a really soft lining inside so is perfect for just slouching around in at home. I also picked up this fitted top in a sort of burnt orange colour (5). This colour is really in this autumn and I feel like these kind of tops are just essentials for this time of year. I picked up these silver slip on shoes as well (6). I actually got these for a family wedding that I did a makeup get ready with me post for last week. The simplicity of the shoe with the striking silver colour gives the shoes a really nice touch. I haven’t got a photo for this item, but I did also pick up the matte top coat nail varnish just to try it out, which was £1.50.
(4) £5.00 (5) £6.00 (6) £8.00
Then I went into Superdrug where I picked up one thing which was the Maybelline tattoo brow (7). This is basically a peel off eyebrow tint and I’ve tried it and it works really well. Finally I went into Matalan and bought my favourite thing ever! It is this beautiful burgundy puffer coat (8). This colour is just perfect for autumn and its so cosy. I’m literally obsessed with this coat!!
(7) 12.99 (8) £35.00
Thank you so much for reading my post. Comment down below if you like my hauls and maybe I could do monthly ones if you would like. Like this post and follow my blog so you never miss a post. Make sure you check out my Instagram and follow it. See you soon.

Hello everybody. Today I thought it would be fun to share with you how I wash, cleanse and keep my face feeling nice and smooth. I am a teenager so unfortunately I do get spots often, but this is how I deal with them.
To start off my skincare routine, I take the Nivea double effect eye makeup remover to get rid of any eye makeup I had on. Then I dampen my skin slightly with a flannel and massage the E45 cream into my skin all over my face. This is actually a moisturiser for dry skin, but it works really well as a makeup remover, especially for people like me who have eczema. I take my flannel again to rinse off the excess cream. Next I take my Nivea refreshing cleansing mousse and apply this all over my wet face. I will then rinse this off with my flannel. I then dry my face with a soft towel and making sure I don’t pull on my skin. Once my face is completely dry I squirt a small amount of the simple soothing facial toner onto a cotton pad and wipe it across my whole face. This is my favourite part of my skin care routine as it is so refreshing on my face.
Next I like to take the Nivea refreshing soft moisturising cream and gently rub this into my skin. This moisturiser is not only for your face, but for your body and hands too. If I do have any blemishes, I take the skin system overnight blemish serum. This is a new addition to my skincare routine, but I’m really liking it. To finish off my routine I take a lip balm just to keep my lips hydrated. Around once or twice a week I like to use a face mask and facial scrub. The skin system 3 in 1 mask, scrub and cleanser is perfect because it does all these things. To use it as a scrub I apply a thin layer to my wet skin after taking off my makeup and then remove it with a damp flannel. To use it as a mask, I apply a thin layer before toning my skin and leave it for 10-15 mins. Then I remove it with flannel again.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and liked finding out what I do to keep my skin clean. If you have any questions or suggestions for blog posts then feel free to leave them in the comments below. Make sure you like this post and follow my blog. Don’t forget to check out my Instagram. See you soon.

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been really inactive lately. I’m going to be trying to post at least twice a week from now on. Next week I am going to a relatives wedding so I thought I would do a little get ready with me where I tell you how I’m going to do my makeup. This is going to be a super natural look which is perfect for teens like me. All of the products I’m using are drugstore, so are really affordable.
Starting of with my base, I like to use the skin system light mattifying moisturiser because it is really light weight on my skin and gives a great base for makeup as well as hydrating my face. I’m not going to be wearing a foundation because my skin is really good at the moment and also, wearing lots of face makeup really ages your skin. However, I am going to go in with my collection lasting perfection concealer and takes this under my eyes and on any blemishes I have. I blend this in with my real techniques beauty sponge. To set my concealer I’m going to take my rimmel stay matte powder and just use a fluffy powder brush.
Now onto shaping my face. I like to use the sleek face form contouring and blush palette. First of all I take the bronzer shade and use the same brush I used for my powder to create a nice bronze and slight contour. I also bring this on my temples and around my forehead. Again using the same brush (lol) I take the beautiful blush shade and put a little bit on the apples of my cheeks. Now taking an angled brush, I like to take the highlighter and put this on my cheekbones, on the tip of my nose and a little bit between my brows. This highlighter is so gorgeous! I wanted to keep this face makeup quite natural because I’m still young and don’t really feel the need to cake on lots of contour and highlight.
Moving onto my eyes. All of the eyeshadows I’ll be using are from the MUA heavenly neutral palette. Just to set my eyes I take a little bit of concealer and then set this with the matte cream shade on the bottom row of this palette. Then using a small fluffy brush, I take the matte brown shade at the end of the middle row and the other from the bottom row and work these into my crease. I also take these shade in my bottom lash line to create more of a smokey look. Using a different fluffy brush, I take this darker matte shade from the middle of the centre row and work it into the outer corner of my eye to create more depth. Next I like to take this stunning rose gold/ pink shimmer from the bottom row and apply this across my whole lid using a flat brush. Finally I go in with this very pale blue shade, which has a slight shimmer, from the bottom row, into the inner corner of my eye to make it look more awake. I then apply the miss sporty curve it mascara to my lashes.
I like to keep my brows very natural by using the collection eyebrow definer to slightly fill them in and then applying the collection clear brow mascara to set them in place. For my lips I’m using my favourite lipstick which is the collection lasting colour one in number 21 rosewood. It is a beautiful nude pink shade and is also really hydrating on the lips. This lipstick finishes off the look.
I really hope you enjoyed this post. Give it a like if you did and comment down below what your favourite makeup brand is. I love reading your comments and getting to interact with my readers. Hello everyone. First of all I just wanted to say sorry for not posting in a few days. I’ve just been a bit busy this week with school. Today I thought I would give you a bit of a life update to give you a chance to get to know me a bit more and a chance for me to get my feelings off my chest.
School is hard at the moment. First of all there is the stress of homework and exams. GCSE’s means a lot more homework and its hard to keep on top of it all as well as doing my dance after school. I also get quite a lot of pressure off my parents. With my sister doing so well in her GCSE’s, I feel the pressure to do as well if not better. My parents have told me multiple times that I don’t work hard enough and that they are disappointed in my test results. I have also been compared to my sister and told she is better than me. Obviously at first this hurt my feelings, and it still does now, but I just use their words to inspire me to work even harder.
Then there’s friends. I have struggled with fall outs in friendship groups in both school and dance. In year 7 I went through about a month were I basically had no friends. I fell out with my main best friend and she went off with the rest of our group. I sat alone most lunchtimes. Luckily I made it past this and made a new friendship group. I was so scared that I would be left with no friends again, that I let these friends treat me however they wanted. There was one girl in the group who just didn’t like me. Whatever I did she would call me stupid or and idiot or just yell at me. I finally got the courage to leave them (after 2 years). I have now found a new friendship group who are lovely. We have our ups and downs and I occasionally feel left out or upset with them, but this rare.
I have also had a few fall outs at dance with my friends. I’ve been left out multiple times of things they’ve done out of dance together. My mum has told me to ignore them because they clearly don’t want to be my friend, so that’s what I’m going to do. Sometimes you just have to move on.
Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you enjoyed this style of post and let me know in the comments if you did. Sorry if I rambled on about myself a bit too much. Like this post and follow my blog. Also remember to follow my Instagram, link in the comment section. See you soon.

Hello everyone. Today I wanted to talk to you about something that I realised. Today I had a kind of PLTS day in school which means we have no lessons and do sessions with visitors that have come in. Usually I don’t look forward to these because they’re super boring and pointless, but today I actually learnt something (for a change).
A man came in (lets call him ‘G’) and told us his life story. He told us about how he didn’t use to care about school or his grades, but then one teacher told him he could achieve high if he really tried, and after that G turned his life around. He left school with excellent grades and carried on succeding in life. G’s dream had always been to become a professional rugby player, and his dream came true. During one of his games, G had an acident which resulted in him breaking his neck. He was paralysed from the neck down and was told he would never walk again. But this didn’t stop G! A few years later he taught himself to walk again and is now living happily with a family.
You may be wondering what I learnt from this story. I learnt that it is so important to never give up. I realised how easily I give up on things, even if they are only small. Then I looked at G and felt so inspired that he ignored all the people that gave up on him and carried on trying with drive and perseverance.
I have decided to set myself goals for each month. I was inspired by thehappinesshunters to do this. Make sure you check out her post as well. I want to make these lists because after listening to G’s story, I want to never give up on my goals and always keep trying.
- Listen more in my lessons.
- Be more positive about situations.
- Find more time to spend with my family.
- Do more work at home to help boost my grades.
- Be more open minded.
- Do one thing i enjoy everyday.
Why not make as list of your goals and try your hardest to never give up on them.
Thank you for reading my post. If you enjoyed it, give it a like and remember to follow my blog. Also, make sure you check out thehappinesshunters post which inspired me to think about my goals for this month. The link to it will be in the comment sectiom.
